Relaxation Exercise

I apparently did not read the instructions all the way through so I wasn't aware that I was suppose to comment on the relaxation exercise.

Fortunately, I only have to comment on it and I didn't have to enjoy or like it:)  It may just be a personal hang up of mine, but listening to some guy whisper in my ear while playing a xylophone doesn't help me relax.  After a minute or two, his voice was annoying me so I started picturing Dexter (from Showtime) talking to me while I was taped to one of his tables right before he kills me.  Although this was mentally entertaining, it was really far from relaxing.

In all fairness, I tried conducting this exercise at 8 in the morning after having a tall cup of coffee.  I'm not really trying to relax, but rather start my day.

Well, if memory serves, I have met the requirements for this particular exercise.  If you chose to respond and you are an avid blogger, can you tell me if we will be able to delete these threads later if we want?

Thanks,

George

  1. George, I am not a regular blogger and I have no idea if you can delete them later but I would think it was possible. I enjoyed reading your blog because you spoke your feelings. This form of relaxation is not for everyone. I know when I chose to relax, I like complete silence.

  2. George and Lisa,

    A) I did not like the exercise much either. See my post for my explanation as to why.

    B) Yes, you can delete posts if you don't like them. You just have to go into your design dashboard, click on the tab labeled posting. Then click on edit posts. A list of your posts will show up. To delete a post, look to the right of the post name and you will see where it says "delete".

Let me know if you have any other blogging questions and I'll do my best to answer them as quickly as possible. I'm not a total expert, but I have some experience.

  3. Oh, and yes you can delete this, whenever you would like. Go to "posting" check the box on the left and then delete on the bottom. :)

  4. Thankfully, there are many ways to enjoy relaxation techniques! I personally enjoyed the lesson, because I have always been a fan of guided meditation anyway.

I especially am in tune to it at the end of a Yoga class, when the instructor leads us into a state of calm after an hour of pushing myself.
