I must admit, I'm really enjoying this blogging thing. However, I am not much of a fan of the in class relaxation exercises. I did make it further in this one than I did in the last one, but ultimately they ended with the same result...me imagining that I was captured by Dexter (Showtime) and he was just trying to calm me down before he killed me. That isn't very relaxing to me, although it is entertaining:)
Perhaps if they used a female voice and played different music. But for now, I'd have to rate this relaxation exercise with two thumbs down.

I agree! I don't like listening to those things.. lol. Blogging is more fun though. Haha. :)

Hi George,
ReplyDeleteI think that you fell asleep and you were having a nightmare instead of trying to relax....lol.I'll be scared to imagine Dexter following me!
I think relaxing is a good thing, but using this method might not be useful for everyone, as you know! but I think you can find something that can help you relax and probably even meditate. I hope you can find the special way to relax and hopefully it wont make you think of Dexter...=)
There is one song that I can listen to over and over and never get tired of when I'm trying to relax.

I tried posting this video and it messed up, but you can follow this link and it will play the only song that really works for me.
I hear ya sir. The relaxation tapes make me more tense than relaxed. I must add, I have listened to the audio for next week and I find it WAY better than the prior exercises. I can't wait to hear your reactions to them.
